Emma Whisman is originally from Versailles, Kentucky and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in Lexington, Kentucky. Her current practice interests include emergency medicine and critical care. Emma serves as chief resident at Saint Joseph East hospital. She is in the process of completing the Sullivan University College of Pharmacy Teaching Certificate in order to enhance her teaching and presentation skills. In her free time she volunteers at the Salvation Army Clinic in Lexington, KY helping to provide healthcare to the less fortunate population as well as precepting medical and pharmacy student volunteers. Upon completion of her PGY1 residency, she plans to pursue a PGY2 residency in emergency medicine. Aside from pharmacy, Emma enjoys riding and training her horse and having game nights with her friends.
